Gardening

As from September, meetings will commence at 2 pm in the Catholic Church Hall.  During the summer we have a series of visits, details of our next visit is given below:

20 July 2010

The Nursery, 15 Knapton Lane, Acomb, York

Cost - £2.50

Directions - Follow B1224 towards Acomb & York City Centre from A1237, York ringroad.  Turn left at the first mini roundabout into Beckfield Lane.  Knapton Lane 2nd left after 150 metres.

17 August 2010

Mount Pleasant Plants,  Leavening,  Nr Malton

Cost - £3.00

Directions – Stamford Bridge – over bridge turn right (by Vets).  At T-junction turn right follow road through to Buttercrambe.  Continue for about 3½ miles (signed to Malton and Leavening).  Left at cross roads in Leavening village.  Entrance to farm and nursery is at bottom of hill, on left-hand side (just after de-restriction sign).
