The Military History Group has got off to a good start with the first couple of talks well attended.

In this group we are keen to cover a whole range of topics including both the military point of view e.g. battles, regimental histories etc and the civilian standpoint e.g. the home front, women in wartime etc and cover any period from ancient history to modern day conflicts.

We will meet on the third Tuesday of every other month at Pocklington Methodist Church in Chapmangate, at 10.00 am. (alternating with the 19th Century Industrial History Group).
