Yorkshire Show - Harrogate - 14 July

Fancy a day out at this year's annual Yorkshire Show?  Should we get interest from U3A members of 24 or more we can get tickets for £15.50, plus a grandstand seat for an extra £5.00, plus the coach for approx £6.00.....grand total of £26.50 (the normal gate entry fee alone is £21.00)

Choral Concert in Scarborough

On Saturday 21 August at 7.45 p.m. there is an excellent concert at the Methodist Central Hall in Scarborough.

The excellent Colne Valley Male Voice Choir, organist Simon Dindley and cornet virtuoso Philip McCann will be entertaining everyone.

The cost will be £8.00 for admission, plus the travel costs (coach or minibus dependant on numbers)

Trip on the River Trent

Fancy a 2 hour cruise on the River Trent, with gentle background music, commentary from the Captain.  A galley menu is available and includes Lasagne, Chicken in White Sauce, Cottage Pie and Roast Beef followed by Sweet of the Day plus Tea and Coffee.

Cost - £26.00 per person.  This includes coach, lunch and cruise.  The date of the trip is Thursday 2 September.  Anyone interested please contact Glynis Moorhouse at: glynis@moorhouse.plus.com.

Trip to Italy

We are organising a tour to Italy later in the year.  If you are interested, please contact me and I will put your name on our database.

We would stress that payment for any trips would secure places.
