Environment Group

We welcome everyone to our monthly meetings held on the third Wednesday of the month 2.00pm – 4.00pm at Yapham Village Hall - no particular knowledge or experience necessary, just a wish to understand how our actions and those of others impact on the environment and the steps that are being taken to mitigate these actions.  Meetings vary with a mix of guest speakers, field trips and topic led discussions.  We encourage diverse viewpoints prioritising different outcomes and look forward to learning the true impact of human activity on our planet.  We hope to learn what our government and others are actually doing and what they plan to ensure a sustainable future.

Climate change, carbon capture, the importance of habitats, renewable energy, recycling/waste disposal and sustainable food productionwill be some of the subjects explored.

Entrance charge is £2 including refreshments
