The Barbara Lewis U3A Fund - An Appeal

The Barbara Lewis U3A Fund - An Appeal

For the 10 years I served on the National Executive Committee, especially during my Chairmanship from 2012 to 2015, my priority was to help start new U3A’s.

Today, more than ever, I want to leave an on-going project to ensure new start-ups get the support they need and deserve.

I have therefore donated a substantial amount to establish a ring-fenced scheme specifically for that purpose.

Among other things, the money will facilitate:

  • Publicity to identified communities

  • Venues for initial public meetings

  • Subsidy for delegates to attend the national AGM

You can participate right now – and any & every year – by donating to the scheme.

This appeal is for your donations, however large or small, so that the fund can be sustainable for many years.  The need for new U3A’s will certainly continue!

If you wish to contribute to the Fund please send donations, in favour of the Barbara Lewis U3A Fund, to: c/o Chief Executive Officer, Third Age Trust, 52 Lant St, London  SE1 1RB
